Chung Yu Education Foundation

Madam Yu-mei Yang, mother of Chau Wei Construction Chairman Arthur Yang, founded the Chung Yu Education Foundation as a way of paying back the society, hoping to inspire and promote excellence in education.

Chung Yu Education Foundation is chaired by Madam Yang herself, while the board members include Mr. Arthur Yang, a number of junior and elementary school principals, as well as heads of Parents' Associations. The foundation engages mostly in charity works.

In a knowledge-based economy, "innovative power" holds the key to individual success. The mission of this foundation is to cultivate "Potential Talented Chinese." Devoting love and care into educational resources, the foundation hopes to let the disadvantaged children and communities be bathed in the warm light of education and become a pillar of society in the future.
